On June 16th, 2014 thousands of Hosting Companies, Data Centers, Solutions Providers and Software Developers gathered in Miami Beach for the 10th annual HostingCon – the Premier event in Web Hosting. Server Sitters was pleased to be among the exhibitors – as a support solutions provider with extensive experience in web hosting support – we were exactly where we wanted to be at the center of the action.

There is a growing trend towards providing a superior customer service and technical support solutions experience for end users – especially in such a competitive landscape where good service can literally make or break your business. End users are becoming more sophisticated and as a result are demanding timely and knowledgeable support to be administered clearly and by a person who they feel understands the issues they are facing. In addition to the exhibits which boasted industry leaders such as Softlayer, Symantec, The WHIR, Sandisk, Cpanel, Limestone Networks, Juniper Networks, IBM, Hewlett Packard; the sessions at this year’s HostingCon had a major focus on security – which is yet another feature which can differentiate a company from its peers in the industry. 13 speakers in total on the 17th and 18th of June presented talks about the industry Post-Snowden, as well as what it means to be a Security Provider in the industry today.
