How to reset a password for CPVLabs

If you have forgotten your password to CPVLabs admin, you can reset it if you have access to your database.

  1.  Login to your phpMyAdmin
  2. select the database used for CPVLabs
  3. Click on browse beside the user table
  4. Edit the “admin” user account
  5. replace the the password field with “21232f297a57a5a743894a0e4a801fc3”   (without the quotes)

The password is now “admin”  (without the quotes).  Once you get logged into CPVLabs, you can reset the password to something much more secure.
